But I admit that I had to Google Hogfather. hahhaha The last two decades have been pretty hectic and I haven't gotten to do much reading (Had to read the Harry Potter books so I could keep up with my granddaughter.) Mr. Pratchett's stories seem to be something I'd enjoy. So thank you for mentioning that character.
So a very Merry Yule, Christmas and everything else to you and yours! Since this is my first year as a pagan, I have been struggling with how to approach this, because like you, I love the festive spirit and the positive energy it gives this time of year. And like you, I love the movies, the music, and decorations. So I feel so much better knowing that I can still enjoy the parts of this season that I always have, and still celebrate Winter Solstice/Yule and enjoy it all! Love and light, dear one!Paul Chamness Miller, Ph.D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05814923505977476399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540034411674848782.post-91723026964162148332015-11-27T12:49:26.552+00:002015-11-27T12:49:26.552+00:00Exactly my take on Christmas, Rachel. I do draw the line at 'Mistletoe and Wine' though, not for its Christian content but because the forced rhymes hurt my writer's sensibilities LOL.
I love the Nativity Scenes, I have a small set and I see the baby as the Child of Light, bringing love, hope and rebirth!
Wishing you 'God Yule', 'Merry Christmas' and a very Merry Hogswatch (have to read that every year, along with 'Santa and Pete' and 'A Christmas Carol').Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14966236867003654568noreply@blogger.com
