Glastonbury, Covenstead and cafes

Just had a wonderful weekend in Glastonbury as part of the Mystical Arts Fayre run by Matthew Callow from The Magical Times magazine.

A huge thank you to Matthew for all the organisation that went into the fayre and for his company on Friday evening in our shared lounge!

We stayed at the Covenstead B&B which is quite possibly the most amazing place I have ever stayed in.  Beautiful house crammed full of witchy items, so much to look at it seemed that every time we turned around something else had appeared.  Our bedroom was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean.  The owner Adele is fantastic and so friendly.  The breakfast has to be experienced to be believed, we were so full Saturday morning that we weren't hungry until the evening.

Also sending out a huge thank you to all our lovely Kitchen Witch students, actually students is the wrong word, they are now our friends, for coming along and supporting me in my workshop and to all the people that turned up to listen to me waffle.

On the Friday we also had lunch in the Rainbows End cafe (half way up the high street on the left just by the Goddess & the Green Man shop) - fantastic food, all home made and great value for money.

If you ever get to stay in Glastonbury you have to try the Covenstead - can't rate it highly enough, check out their website for more details.  www.covenstead.co.uk

Matthew is also running another Mystical Arts Fayre in Glastonbury on 1st and 2nd November, check out the Magical Times website for details of all the events.  www.themagicaltimes.com
